Welcome!

The Paradise Community Wellness Connection (PCWC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed to serve individuals in the Paradise, California area, including the towns of Paradise, Magalia, Sterling City, Lovelock and surrounding unincorporated areas of Butte County. Our mission integrates health and wellness for individuals, families and our environment. The goals of PCWC are to:

  • Provide resources to promote and sustain wellness through education and community service.
  • Promote preventive and integrative medicine by uniting conventional, complementary and alternative medicine professionals for educational purposes.
  • Encourage an eco-conscious lifestyle to help build a sustainable community.
  • Create an educational resource guide of integrative medicine and sustainable living.

We intend to create a "culture of wellness" by collaborating with healthcare providers, educators, retailers, local farmers, green builders, eco-conscious businesses, animal health providers and others to create a healthier, more sustainable community.

With a focus on disease prevention, integrative medicine, and sustainable living, PCWC is fostering this new approach to wellness through community education and events.

To date, PCWC has co-sponsored such events as a health expo “Family Wellness Day” with Feather River Health Center and Paradise Unified School District’s SHINE program, and obtained a grant to provide a series of “Feelin’ Good Wellness Days” with the Paradise Grange.
